It’s the first thing you see when you arrive by plane and it wallops you over the head when you reach the end of the Coquihalla highway.

 The culture here really revolves around the lake. On hot summer days, many people who live close enough will walk down to the lake for a picnic supper instead of hanging around a hot kitchen table. Locals who live in the hospital area along the Abbott corridor have many choices of friendly beaches to choose from but many locals have their little beach accesses and it’s a regular meeting place for many. We even have a beach on the lake dedicated to dogs. If volleyball is your thing there are leagues that go right through to Labour Day weekend.

 Last year in 2016 there were 5 lakefront homes that sold ranging in price from $920,000 upto $6,222,000.  The inventory has dwindled.
