Choosing a neighborhood in a new community can be challenging if you have not been to Kelowna before. Kelowna Communities

All of Kelowna neighbourhoods offer different advantages and some will meet your requirements more than others. There are opportunities to live close to Lake Okanagan and enjoy the waterfront, or live on Dilworth Mountain and have amazing views of the lake . If you are sports minded then living close to The Rutland YMCA or the Kelowna H2O YMCA have many advantages for swimming indoors and great fitness Gyms.

Kelowna Real Estate Update March 8, 2015

Hi Everyone,

This is Andrew Smith Royal LePage Kelowna. Sunday March 8th , we took the Bear Creak hiking trail up from the other side of the campground. We are about 5-10 Klms in from Hwy97. If you are coming from Kelowna it is just across the bridge on the West Side. 

162 Homes listed last week bringing the total upto 1360 Homes for Sale in Kelowna. That number is creeping up, still not a large number of homes for sale in the lower price range. At 1380 we are getting up there. So far this year there have been 383 Home & Condo sales compared to 290 Sales last Year.

Things are still looking good in Kelowna. There were 70 sales last week adding to that total. All in all it is a good start to the year.

 Dilworth Mountain

Kelowna MarketIf living close to Orchard Park Mall, Downtown Kelowna and a short drive to the airport in Ellison, Dilworth Mountain is a good choice. Close to the Kelowna airport and UBCO. Popular family neighbourhood with Ben Lee Park and the YMCA. Quite a few UBCO students rent here and commute.


Rutland SouthKelowna Ruthland south

Affordable family homes and newer developed  areas. Close to Orchard Park Mall and YMCA gym and indoor swimming pool.


 Upper Mission

Great views and many houses with swimming pools. Home to Kettle Valley subdivision with newly built homes and townhomes.. New elementry , kindergarden and preschools



Known around the world for some of the most spectacular lakeshore homes and beaches. .Lake Okanagan has fresh clean water and is enjoyed by locals and tourists. There are luxury residences, and strata condos built on the water front.


 West Kelowna

When you drive from Vancouver you will travel through West Kelowna before travelling across the bridge to the main city. There are shopping centers, medical clinics, many schools and churches..



When you look across the lake from Knox Mountain you can view Westside Rd and some of the beautiful lakeshore properties. The area is peaceful and serene with many hiking trails.
