A Quick Overview of South East Kelowna
A quick 15 minutes from Orchard Park Mall, you’ll find the vibrant and revitalized neighborhood of Southeast Kelowna. This older and well-established part of the city is known for its well-preserved heritage homes, so that new generations of families will enjoy their legacy.
This area of acreages is an interesting paradox. The flip side of the coin to the old farm homes and apple orchards are the prominent, newly constructed homes in Gallaghers Canyon Golf Club and the estate properties built on large acreages.
Parks and Bicycle Paths
One of the most spectacular hiking trails and mountain bike trails in Kelowna is at the trestles on the old Kettle Valley railway. The rail ties have been removed and the trail goes all the way to Naramata. This is a poplar trail bike ride and in the summer there is a challenging point to point race that traverses through Okanagan Mountain park and ends in the lovely town of Naramata.
